Thumbs up 12.62

saw your post- just ran 12.62. that is very healthy for a heavy small block car. you didn't mention miles per hour or 60 ft time. my car is a factory 360 4bbl car, but it had a late (74) 340 in it, small valve heads, cast iron 360 4bbl manifold, stock late manifolds, 1 7/8 single exhaust, a thermoquad and a paper shift kit in the trans (727). the previous owner claimed to have run a 14.56 with headers and a holley carb, but i doubt it. the car has an 8 3/4, 3.91 sure-grip in it (replaces the factory 8 1/4). i had planned to build a 360, but lots of people suggest a big block. would like to hear more about your car and engine build-up.
