New guy, with a question, heater core?
Hey guys!
New here, so I'll introduce myself before asking questions! I'm new to Mopar, but not new to old cars, I have a 58 Triumph TR-3 and a 72 MGB-GT, and recently parted company with a 46 Ford 1 Ton. Been toying with this stuff for 20 years and figured it was time to find a Mopar.
So I picked up my first Mopar, a 64 Sport Fury, about six months ago just before winter, and just started working on her. She is a solid car, had a restro done in 2000, then sat for 7 years due to a divorce. She's got a 383 in her now but has the original 426 on a engine stand needing work. The only issue on getting her running besides dried out seals and the need to change all the fluids is a bypassed heater core which leads to think it was bypassed for a reason, so I need to remove the heater core to test it, but I can't find anything in the manuals I have on how to do it, nor can I find anything by using the search function on the forum!
I have a sinking feeling I need to remove the most of the dash in order to get to the core, as I can't see a simple way of doing it, unless I'm missing something! I was hoping it would be a easy job!
Can someone shed some light on how to do this?
Thanks in Advance
