It's fun owing a 64' when all the after market parts places (year one etc!) only do parts for 66' on.
But a recore should be about $80 - $100 for a decent job that will last another 40 years, since I have no wish to ever remove that heater box ever, ever, ever again! I'll also get the heater valve rebuilt at the same time.
