I am 17 and looking at buying a 1969 Road Runner from a guy for $4000. So I thought I would sign up here and learn some stuff about mopar and do some research. It is a original A/C car with a 383 and a 727 it has lots of cancer and has been sitting out side with the rear window out. but the car was stripped and has a nice coat of primmer on the floors, their is no rust on the floor pans. I was wondering if you guys think this car is worth the money I really like it and I know it is going to need lots of work. The main decider will be if the frame is rusted or not. What would you guys do with the car if you bought it? what engine combination do you guys recomend? I want it to be able to go fast and smoke all of the fords and chevy's.
