Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help
with a neutral safety switch problem.
1. 68 Barracuda original colunm shift w/ 727 tranny.
2. MY neutral safety did not work when I got the car but already had a floor shifter in it.
3. Just got a B&M mega shifter and now trying to figure out how to get switch to work.
4. I replaced the screw in switch(neutral safety switch) on the tranny it has three pronges. I got a wire harness to hook up too it
But have been told you need no wiring because its
internal??? but a old chiltons book says neutral safety is the middle pronge so I run wire to connector switch on shifter.
still starts in every gear??? unhook wiring still starts every gear??? So its not internal I guess??? How do I wire this up where it will not start in gear???
PLEASE HELP
