i haven't built any mopar cars but i have built a truck or two. can't you build the 340 to push the dart into the 12s with spending the same amount of money or maybe even a little less.
I know that a well built 383 in a d series truck will get down into the high 10 to mid 11s. weight and the set up has some bearing on that, and i understand.
my point is, if you build the 340 not only should you be able to get into the 12s but it would be cooler with a small block.
