My old '70 Roadrunner did better than that, and I'll admit it was originally a sixpack, but it would run "all day" 13'0s at 106, and that was with 3.54 rear, the car weighed 3860, and was driven on the street every day. Back then, I certainly didn't have the money and time to do much "track setup." I DROVE it to Carlsbad.
I'll tell you what. One of my biggest problems "back in the day" used to be a 340 Barracuda or Dart with 391's or 4.10's.
