i'll assume you have a 360, but if the 90 short block is the pre-magnum non-roller version it will work. but the new style blocks are a lot weaker than the early 70s versions. as long as you don't plan on making a lot of power like 500+ it will be fine. but i have a couple of bare 360 x blocks with main caps if your interested.
