ahh...you know, i gave no thought to the "RR clone" idea...my mistake.

you are 100% right..if he wants 1 good clone, he will have to go with a 383, 400, or 440...unless he wants to shell out the cash for a hemi!

i have to wonder why the 413 even came up? rondogg, do you have the chance at a cheap/free 413? if so, you could simply remove badges on the 413, and throw something like a 383 or 440 pie tin on it. that would be the sort of "budget build"...as i dont think that there are no identifying marks on the engine other than the block stamp, and perhaps the pedestal on the front of the block, but you can smooth that out.
