One of the more scarce cars out there, I would love to have one. Good luck finding a replacement for that hi-amp alternator...

I know a guy who is really into those cop cars, and he may have a few extra high amp alternators.

He also sounds interested in wanting the car.. I haven't even decided want I want to do with it yet.

My initial thought was to pull the drive train and part the car. But seeing as how it is a REAL cop car (according to the VIN) I'm having 2nd thoughts.

Would be a cool car to maybe fix up and drive around. Maybe throw some headers, an intake and good car on and make a semi decent big ole C-body

Not sure how you came up with that coding, but I gotta say it's incorrect.

It's supposed to be a factory 3:23 sure grip. I won't know till i can jack it up and spin the wheels or look at the numbers on the 3rd member.

It's also not a console car, it's a column shift..

No factory stripes.

Because I've already figured the car out. I've done quite a bit of research and figured out most of the tag myself.

Plus i know whats in the car.

Working on it.

Should have new pictures tomorrow. It's about half out of the guys yard. only a few more dead trucks to move.

Was looking at it yesterday in the back. It had dual exhaust, which for some reason gave me a little bit of a surprise. But a 4 door big block, I guess that would make sense.

I got a feeling them detectives used to fry the tires off on this bad boy

Here is what I came up with:

It's a cool Mopar, build it into a cool Mopar.

Clean it up and if it is worth the time and effort, I say restore it back to stock..... or build an FBI drag car.

There's a whole fraternity of guys into old cop cars out there. Glad you decided not to just part it out!

Don't be too quick to the draw just yet. I finally got it out, but it started to pour and it was getting late. Will have it in the AM.

But while towing it up, i was steering, put my foot right through the floor. I could see day light. The front doors are not original to the car, but off another blue 67 4 door fury

The 1/4's are toast. Back floors and trunk is soaked with water... Rockers are starting to rust. It's rough.

Finally dragged out and loaded up. I took it to a car wash and sprayed her off pretty well, but it got dark and started raining. Pictures to follow tomorrow of it cleaned up.

Everything is all frozen and seized.. Lots of rust in places there shouldnt be rust.

Heres pictures from right after it got loaded up..

Congrats on the find. IIRC, wasn't there one at the car show last year next to the SPD Coronet? I missed the show this year Good luck with it!
