904 trouble
my duster is having a hard time getting to and staying in 3rd gear. after 2nd it feels like it goes into neutral. not really slippin, it just doesnt like to go into third. ive been manual shifting from 1st to 2nd, then bringing it up to speed enough to throw it in drive, then letting off the throttle almost all the way off to get it in 3rd. then while in third if i push the throttle too much it will feel as if it goes into neutral again. ive played around with the linkage and still have not been able to get it right (doesnt seem like a linkage issue). ive also replaced the filter. it only has 40k miles on it. also, since im tired of this pos tranny, is the a-833 my only choice for a 4-speed besides the lower geared truck 4-speed? i have to figure it out soon because its my daily driver.
