1964 Plymouth Fury Quarter panels

I have a 64 Fury 2 door hard top. I am restoring the car and I needed about 18 inches of the back end of the driver's side quarter panel. I found the piece
and purchased it for a 64 fury. Low and behold, it does not match my existing quarter. I asked several Mopar people and no-one seems to know why it is different. The top of the quarter that I bought is rounded on top where it turns down. The quarter on my car is like a 65 Satellite. Is this a normal thing? Can a Fury have two different types of quarters? I have looked on the internet at a lot of 64's and some of them are also different. If anyone knows the answer, please respond.

Thanks,
R Smith
