Question 1968-69 Charger - What're They Worth?

OK, this is a friend-of-a-friend deal, but I've got a chance at a Charger, either a '68 or '69. What I know about it so far is that it's blue, has some surface rust, possibly has bad floor panels (this is Nebraska, after all), supposedly has a 383 in it, and is a weekend of work away from being drivable. I'd be buying this car clean up and resell, and I was wondering:

If the car is what i said above, what is it worth If it's cleaned up and made roadworthy? (no mods or anything, just basic maintenance, tires, etc.) Also, is there a resource on the internet or elsewhere that has this kind of information? Thanks in advance to anyone who's got advice or information.

Well it all depends what kind of surface rust where its at have you ever looked under carpet and trunk is it all there does the gauges work granted 68 69 dodge chargers are popular they range from different prices there are allot of hiding spots rust can get to with out you knowing 383 unrestored or restored have you decoded the vin is it #s matching so many things you have to consider they go from $1000 to hundreds of thousands of dollars all depending on what the car is holding as far as factory parts and so you might want someone with you who knows cars if your looking to buy

Look on ebay and get a general idea of what they are selling for. i usually put them on my watch list and go back after the bidding is over and see what it actually ended the bidding with. just my 2cents.

So did you buy it? If not, let me know. I'm in the market for 69. I don't need a drivetrain for this project.
