440 ignition question????
I'm ready to beat my brains out right now.... I have a 1970 charger with a 440. I have a mallory electronic distribitor, and the little mallory power cell that hooks up to the coil. I receantly purchased the new mopar performance ignition box, (pretty much the msd 6al) and cannot get this thing to work... I tried one, and thought the box might be bad and got a new one sent, and just got done trying that one as well. the main problem is, when it is all hooked up the way the directions tell you, there is no spark from the coil, as soon as i disconnect the two leads from to the coil from the box, i get spark. I'm out of ideas, did any one hook this up before or anything similar, im dying for help. please
