Some more pics.
Swapping trunk lids. The new one has the holes for the wing.
This looks like some mess I would have done in the past, BMW (before mig welder).
Time to make another patch.
Not my tightest fitting patch, but I was able to weld it up.
I got it outside for a while and blew out all of the dust.

I brought home some more parts from the other car.
And its been so cold that the glazing putty is hard to work. I found a way to make it soft.
Still not happy with the way it spreads.

Got some 180grit. Time to start working it!
This stuff is like spreading cool whip its so light!
Did some sanding to prep for 2k primer.
And fixed some remaining low spots.
I also seam sealed the inside floor.
As soon as we get a nice warm day, and I am off work, I will pull it out and shoot it in high build primer!

Got to love NC weather!
During the cold part of the week I worked inside of the shop on some odds and ends.
This weekend it got into the 60's warm enough to prime.
Yes that is ice and sleet on the ground!
By Noon most of it was gone.
Now I get to block it down again! I'm so ready to be done with this paint and body work.

I don't have any pictures of the charger today. I'm holing off until its painted, but rest assured work is continuing on it.
In other news.
My crown vic has been retired, and its replacement is one bad mother! I'm so glad we went with chargers instead of the caprice. With out saying too much, Its fast as hell, and criminals run like hell when they see it coming.

Watch your speed in the corners, Don't over drive it!!!!!! And also Go easy on the front doors, The blast panel makes them very heavy, you will tare the door stop rite out of them. They are also prone to the door hinges breaking away from the pillar.. No Booting of these doors or you will be in the WCO (Watch Commanders Office) explaining to the MPS (Motor Pool Sargent) how it happened...lol
But boy are they fun to drive..... We just got Fords PPV/SUV... Kind of Cool For a ford....
How's the Charger Coming?

The charger is coming along. I have been working on getting the first coat of primer blocked out. I'm buying the motor for it on Monday. As soon as my dad finishes working on his boat ill have a place to finish priming and painting it. I hope to be have the paint on by the end of August.
