air grabber question

I have a '70 road runner with 383. It originally had a air grabber hood, but it was removed. I am at this time getting the hood and parts together. I have just been told that the air grabber base for a 383 and 440 are different, but nobody can tell me the heighth difference. I have a base, but now i am unsure if it is correct. Since i don't have all the parts at this time, it is not as simple as just putting it on. If someone knows the exact difference I would appreciate the help.
Thanks!

I'm not sure if the actual part was different or not. I CAN tell you this--there is very little difference in height between the B and RB engines. So far as fitting in the car, I doubt it will be an issue. You'd probably change the installed height much more with differences in manifolds and carbs, IE Carter vs Holley, and aftermarket vs factory manifolds

I will BET that the AG hood assembly is the same ...B and RB. The diff in height ...is made up with the air-cleaner assembly.
