Does a 1971 Satellite/RR 2-Door Grille Fit On A 4-Door?
I'd like to build a 1971 Road Runner wagon. Its obvious that the 4-door/wagon front sheet metal (fenders/doors/hood) is completely different from a 2-door. Can I at least use the Road Runner grille? How about the front valence?

No, they are totally different. The 4 door and wagon are compatible only. Sorry.

One of the big appeal of the '71-74 Mopars was that the body design of the 2 door cars and the 4 door cars were totally different. Instead of them basically being the same car with 2 or 4 doors.
The down side is that body parts in not interchangeable. |

Has anyone ever compared the rear edge sections of both different fenders ? ... if the fender contour is the same ... everything should be able to be at least ADAPTED ... and maybe just bolted on.
INTERESTING concept .... I have always liked wagons. |
