Figure this one

Is it possible to have a 440 , with a 7 1/4 , 741 chunk and have3.91 ? question #2 what gears come standard with a pickup 489 rear end

NOT original ?? A 7 1/4 will not last long behind a 440.. I would suspect they are wrong with their terminology 741 / 3.91 woulds have to be a 8 3/4

I do have a 440 . The chunk has 741 on it , I looked yesterday I know it's crazy

Are you looking at a 2070741 center on an 8 3/4?
If so it's a small stem center and will handle a mild 440 with an AT.

I think the small stem was standard for pickups and Abodys.

I agree.... Just don't hit it too hard.. But it will hang for awhile...
