(HELP!) 1977 Dodge Charger Midnight Edition restoration

Hey everyone! First post on the forums, and I was hoping anyone on here would be able to help me.

I bought myself a 77 Charger (6.6l/400) a couple months ago as a project, and have just started bring it back to life. So far i've done the basics like spark plugs, and got her to running condition. I've also painted the valve covers as well as the intake.

Main issue being the trunk pan has a large amount of rust and needs to be replaced, while the quarter panels are in fairly rough shape. I was wondering, what would be the best method for replacing the trunk pan.

I looked online but couldnt find a direct replacement, so I was thinking of welding in some sheet metal as the pan.

Any help would be appreciated, will upload pics if wanted.

HaR -

Did you check AMD for a trunk pan replacement?
If they don't have one more fabricators should be able to make one for you.
Cost on the latter may be another issue.

Hey Archer, I did check out AMD, but unfortunately they don't carry any of the needed parts for my car. Might have to get one fabricated.
