Superbird Conversion

Hey guys, after years of searching for the muscle car of my dreams, I've finally come to my decision. I'm looking to build a Superbird clone, of course I would love to own a matching numbers original, but my dream of flying to the moon would be more easily realized. I need to know what cars can be cloned and where to buy the conversion kit. Also, it would be great to find out what all needs to be converted in order to make a reasonably good quality clone. I would prefer to go all steel, but I will go fiberglass if I have to.

check out wingedwarriorbodyparts.com. they have EVERYTHING youll need to do it. even a rear window plug to change a roadrunner or satellite rear window into a superbirds style. i think theyre pretty reasonable on prices too. my next car will be a superbird clone, and ill definitly be going throught them. keep pics posted of your progress!!

I am also building a S.B. clone.I am finding out it is not easy and may be a long project.I have my 70 Satellite body the 70 coronet fenders and the hood.I called Ted Janak tonight (wingedwarriors)He quoted me only a three month waiting period on parts. Also seems to know his parts.Maybe we can share information on our trials along the way.Information is scarce about the build.Good luck to you it can be done.
