Youre in the midst of doing a ground-up, right?

More like in the front-end of one..... but, yeah, that's the plan. In process of dismantling the drivetrain now- am scheduled to get it to the rebuilders next month. Then the body begins... fortunately, no rust repair is needed, so it will be mostly stripping and cleaning, top and bottom, then the repaint. A lot of chrome will need to be redone also. Then the interior...:rolleyes:

stock spec on the motor build? or will it be something like TeeWJay488? :D

Gonna be all stock. If it wasn't an untouched numbers correct original, I'd be tempted to do something like that. The genuine numbers matching Hemi cars have gone crazy in value though, so it makes sense to do it factory correct. I have an extra 440 though.... that may be a candidate for a something like you're suggesting in the future, when I can find a decent body available and have the Charger done!

ah...i posted that question before i even considered the fact that it is a numbers car...there was a HUGE amount of 66-67s at the show today...had to be a quarter mile of them sitting three rows deep off the road, side by side...from flawless factory hemi cars with the original owners and full documentation, to cars with ragged 383s (that may not have belonged at a car show) but it was amazing to see so many in one place.
