Hello everyone i just purchaed a 1966 monaco and im looking for info on if its rare at all um this is the info i have

Body Type: D = Polara / Monaco
Price Class: P = Premium
Body Type: 23 = 2 Door Hardtop
Engine: E = 318 230HP 1-2BBL 8 CYL
Year: 6 = 1966
Sequence Number: 235504 = 135504th Vehical Built

all the history i can find says it supposed to be 383 the car is black with white vinyl and red pin stripe, two door

Any info about the car rarity worth and any personal comments you have about the car would be great

My first car was a plain jane 66 polara, two door hard top 318 automatic. I don't have any of the answers you are looking for, but I wish I still had mine. It was the most reliable vehicle I ever owned.

2 dr ht is not the rarest, although finding any factory parts...new or used...can be next to impossible .Rarest was the conv, released to the Canadian market. Mine is the 662dr ht, factory A/C, power front disc brakes, tilt/ telescoping wheel, 383 4 bbl, auto,floor console shift, purchased from orig owner with less than 28,000 miles, for only $250. THATS rare LOL
