66 fury II headers
I just bought a 66 Fury II with the 318 Poly motor, it is a nice running motor, it already has a upgraded carb, and intake and I want to do exhaust, problem is headers are almost imposible to find. Does anyone know who makes headers for this car, not looking for anything fancy. Thank You Nathan

I would CALL Summit Racing. 1-800-230-3030. They can get way more parts than what's on their website.

Well, I've seen the flanges and collectors sold separately, so you might be looking to have someone build them for you. See if there's an old hot rodder teaching auto mechanics at a local high school or community college...they might be able to help you.

Nathan -
You got, what I assume, is a larger carb and better flowing intake and now you want to go to headers and again I assume a new exhaust system. With all that in/out air flow, you might want to seriously start looking at a new cam to take advantage of them. As far as headers, odds are regardless of what you get, there's going to be some tweaking involved. Another option is to check out local muffler shops who (like to) work on street rods, as some make custom headers. More pricey, but you'll get a better fit. Archer |
