body moulding clips
 

hey folks, i'm trying to find these body moulding clips. They attach the trim that runs along where the roof meets the trunk on my 67 fury III 2dr hardtop. I need 8 of them with the bolts attached. I have checked out R/T and can't id the correct ones. Any help is appreciated.

Your best bet is to source the part number and try a place like www.collectorsautosupply.com for NOS clips. If you post the question on the boards I suggested in a previous thread, someone will know the part number. I had a heck of a time finding molding clips for my '65 300 and wound up sourcing some NOS clips from Collectors and harvestng some from a couple '66 300's I found at a local salvage yard. actually they make some universal clips. I was a little leary, but with some slight modifactions they worked great.

I ordered some universal clips for 1" trim from a place off ebay called Florida Auto Fasteners. The bolt head is just a fraction too tall so some modification with the bench grinder may do the trick, cross fingers. I could always glue the trim on for good! Wait, i'm not that bad...yet.
