AAR Cuda Exhaust Manifold Question

I have a question in reference to front passenger side exhaust manifold bolt on an aar cuda. Its a 340 six pack with U heads and original Ex. Manifold. I noticed that after the engine is shut off I was hearing a sizzling sound inside the engine compartment. I opened the hood and observed water running out of the passenger side bolt that attaches the manifold to the head. the water is not leaking from around the bolt it is coming from inside the threads of the bolt and through the nut. I would like to learn how to work on this problem myself rather than take it to someone. Does anyone have any suggestions on this fix or problem

The you speak of is drilled threw the head into the water jacket....
Drain engine coolant.... Clean all the threads... Test fit the stud for a snug fit...
Clean with breakleen and blow dry... Add a good coat of thread sealant... Let set up and then refill your cooling system... This should fix the problem...

Pretty much so. This is why the Chrysler V8s have studs instead of bolts in all 4 end holes. The holes hit "water."

for me stud sealer is spelled, permatex #2 and dont for get anti-seize compound on ext threads.
