1999 Dodge 4wd rear axle assembly identification

My Dodge 1500 truck was involved in a wreck in which the rear axle was broken. We have been looking for a replacement and found one at a local salvage yard. We removed ours and upon comparing with theirs, we found ONE difference.....the shock mounts are DIFFERENT. The 'other' axle has shock mounts that are tilted versus the shock mounts from my truck that are parallel to one another and the truck. The salvage yard is trying to convince me that the axle with the tilted shock mounts is the correct axle for my truck and that the axle that I removed from my truck was wrong. However, we have viewed other like trucks and see that their shock mounts are also parallel. Anyone have any insight?

IF the Mounts (On The Truck) are there for "Ether Or" I dont see a problem..
But if the truck can not have the shocks mounted... I would not take the rear end unless you can convert the truck of the Diff.

What was the truck that the donor axle came from? Can you take a pic of what you have and what you got? I've seen most 9.25 rear axle with the shock mounts at a downward angle.
