Well its down the the wire... Will deliver the car to the painter on Friday for the final assy of the body..... Will pick it back up in a week and the body will be done!!!!!!! Then install the engine and tranny, finish the plumbing and small amount of wiring under the hood and then let the fun begin!!!!!! Will get some new pictures before it goes back to painter...

Painter is on schedule... Got the work that NHRA has announced some changes to the stock eliminator rules for 2011... We can now run any valve spring we want to as long as the head is not altered to get it on... Now we can use some double beehive springs and get the RPM up as we would like..... Sweet!!!!!!!!

Painter hits a snag.... Nothing to do with my car except its not going to be done this week... Bob, has to finish some muriel pannels for a dealership and they were supposed to be shipped the first of the week.. Didn't happen... they are still working on them... Car has sat all week... Not a happy camper about now..... But, will get over it.. Now its next week... Have to leave on Monday anyway, but will be home early on Thursday next week....

This whole project has been that way... I'm about used to it.... About two months ago I decided it will be finished when its finished.... Not going to worry about.... Also easier on the blood pressure......

Painter has the rear bumper cover to clear and he has to adjust the stripe at the front bumper cover... Then its home for the engine and tranny finish the underhood wiring and plumbing and then make some noise!!!!!

Thanks guys.... Do have a slight problem... May be first of the week before its ready... Damm clear is taking much longer to dry. late yesterday afternoon he had the third coat on but wasn't sure how much more he could get yesterday.... The cooler and less humid weather is causing problems with the hardning of the clear.. So may be waiting until first of the week. But did get some good news from engine builder. New valve springs will be there on Wednesday. he will put them on and deliver the engine and eveh help me set her in... Hopefully that to happen late next week!!!!! Oh MY .... I'm getting excited!!!!!!!
