2006 jeep commander

i have a 06 jeep commander. i am having problems with the headlight/dashlights blinking off and sometimes going out while driving down the road at night . fairly dangerous. the heater controls are screwed up and will not operate the system properly. this week the fuel guage decided it was not going to show full tank but only 1/2 tank. ive been trying to research on internet. checked all fuses in and out. someone online said to replace the battery and that solved their problem. battery was fine but i bought a new one anyway. has anyone had any of these probs?
thanks

You have a short or disconnect in the power system. The fact that it "flickers" and isnt constant means it hasn't totally lost connectivity yet. BUT it will!!! Since it is effecting multiple circuits it is prob ground or power junction point issues. There are to many spots to speculate where it could be. It needs good physical inspection first of ALL under hood harness connection, grounds, ecm and distribution block etc...

And get on www.ALLDATA.com and check recall and tsb info that may help you trouble shoot.
