As unpopular as the Volare/Aspens are I've always liked them. I saw an article in Car Craft about 1980, where a guy put a 440/727 and a B body Dana in a Volare and ran mid 10s. I put mine together in the mid 80s.
Yours looks like its working well as a package, what rear springs and shocks are you using, axel 8 1/4 or 8 3/4?

Shop around, you may find some double adjustable shocks for a reasonable price.
ie Viking (http://www.vi-king.com/) , Penske , etc.
