Sreet strip cobination
Ok I am trying to do reaserch and get some stuff figured out for a 69 road runner I might get. Ok I want a high horsepower motor but I still want it to be streetable. I would like to put in a dana 60 and the suspension will get beefed up. It has a 383 but if the motor is original I don't want to mess with it since it's a A/C car. What is a good motor for the RR? And what type of engine combination do you recomend? Now keep in mind. I will have a budget. I would like to get a 440 block and stroke it or bore it out just what ever gets me more power. Opinion welcomed. Thanks you guys!

Hey i think i replied earlier to the 69 you were looking to buy, anyway here is my 2cents, i have a 69 road runner, i have the original 383, but it went south, so i had a 400 block stroked to a 512, i also have an indy top end, it is a scary torque monster. i have also had a 383 stroked to a 434 and it was a bad ass monster as well. that big 3500plus car needs a lot of torque to get it rolling. Mopar's are addictive.
