This is my specs

Billet allu oil pump with external line

Adjusting regulator

At Cold 85 psi at idle

At hot is 40 psi at 1100 rpm And 60 psi at 7400 rpm

The strange is that if you gas quickly drop at 50!

Yes I like the External Pump.... Leaves room for the bigger stroke crank and rods...

I'm Not Much into Multigrade oil.....
I like 30W or 40W... Racing.... I use Castrol... But nothing wrong with VALVOLINE VR.
I think it holds its viscosity better when we beat the **** out of it....
But thats just my opinion....

You got the NOS Fixed?

Did you install the CAL-Trac's?

Hope you have a great season of racing..And get that 9.90...
Bob .. Caltracs installed 2 years ago at bottom hole .. Yes ,,nitrous fixed with switch in 2nd !

Raffa, love your car!!

What do you have for the main bearings? stock,3/4 groove, full grove narrow or wide? What clearances are you running? This will effect oil pressure! Did you restrict the oil going to the heads?

Raffa, Your clearances are on the tight side for a race motor, but that is not your problem.

Just giving my 2cents worth.... I had a problem with oil pressure when I let off at the top end.... I added a three quart accumulator and that ended all the problems... Sounds like just adding a quart may be the answer here.... Sometimes the oil doesn't get back as quickly as we may think... I know this has already been mentioned but, I'm just agreeing on adding a quart of oil and trying that before much else... This could really be the easiest fix for sure.....

Raf, your fine right here. What are you using for clutches? only 20 passes is not good. did you raise the line pressures?

OK i was a bit harsh, sorry. ill say that what you have done is not easy. i know i could not do it. my dad had many sayings. one was "the faster you go the harder it is to go faster." you ARE going faster that the 68 Hemi cuda when new. 10.80 E.T. i saw ronnie sox in late 68 go that fast off the trailer. but he had Hemi heads and $100,000. of factory research. my idea if you can go 9.90 with out nos that WILL be something.

Raf, specs on the tranny sound good! what ratio kick down lever do you have? In your car i would use the 5.0 try using a type "F" transmission fluid instead of the dextron 3.
