Hey Tim... We have had two divisional races and one National Event.... I posted a thread on the LX Platform titled Gator Nationals... We ran up to one of the 2013 Mustangs in all three races.... The new rules are stacked against us at only 370 cubic inches... I have to run a 427 all Alumn Mustang and a 427 all ALum Copo Camero heads up.... Needless to say we have no chance... But all is about to change.... We ARE getting a 426 all ALumn engine of our own... They should be ready sometime in early May.... But to use one all cars will have to be badged as 2013's... But since Mopar will have no 2013 cars we will be allowed to rebadge our 2009 cars as 2013's... Only catch is that we have to buy all the parts at least from Mopar... Most will be looking at the throttle body to pan engines.... Mope info when I have it.......

Ford is the "Offical car of NHRA". So they let the Mustangs have every thing thy asked for . Then along came the Copo and they copied the Ford engine. NHRA tried to say no but wih the Ford engine what could they say... So here comes Mopar with their engine and again the say OK The only difference is the rated HP.... The Ford and the Chebby are rated at 425 and the Mopar is rated at 450... So we will be app 175 lbs heavier than the Mustangs and Copos... We are still at a disadvantage but not as much...

For a sneak peak go to Arrow Racing Engines dot com and look at the crate motor 426... This isn't exactly the engine but the same block and heads... With the Drag Pak options this will be the DP 426 engine.......

It's the same with the motorcycle class It is factored in favor of Harley Davidson with engine size

OK guys, got the call and my new bullet for the Challenger is scheduled on the dyno at Arrow Racing on Monday June 24th.... They have a four hour break in session and I have the rest of the day to play with it and start to fine tune the tune up.... I will be leaving Florida on Saturday the 22nd and driving up to Detroit for the dyno session and to bring it back to Florida.... More datails when they are available........
