Winternationals 2012

Sorry for the poor reporting guys... We had our first Division 2 race this weekend and I broke a motor on Saturday night and came home.. Spent Sunday removing it and getting it to my motor shop today... Spun two rod bearings. But the block and crank seen to be ok... I'm lucky on this... Will report on Pomona when I get time this week... Mack

Sorry to hear!
I grew up at the Winternationals and can remember when the first 'altered' Mopars were on the track..... and winning! Also blower straps weren't required! Lots of parts flying! lol
It would be great to see you run sometime!
Do you ever make it to Sears Point (Infinion) in Sonoma, CA?

Eric, had some time tonite to look at all me data logs since we built the engine... We have something around 60 passes on it and since January of 2012 I'm seeing a small variance in oil pressure at different RPM's... It started very small but I do believe this was the start of the problem... Not 100 % sure yet but will know before we quit.. Mack

Silverick, we don't go that far West... Well, not yet anyway... I do have running at the Mopar Mile High Nationals in Denver on my "Bucket list" but not yet..... Mack

I foolishly lost a crank in my 360 once. Kept driving it even though it only had 40psi oil pressure I suspect a bearing clearance problem allowed the crank to flex too much.. Weather was really crappy this past weekend in Pomona. With some rain on Saturday

Cold race tracks and racing do not go together.. Had two S/G cars on their tops in Orlando last weekend.... Air temp at 38 or 39 and track temps in the 50's... Formula for disaster!!!!!
