Woman dies after being hit by tire from NHRA crash

Thought I would post this up. I think that there will be some changes to how the drag strip is "fenced" in after this. |
Talk about final destination, I dont think anyone will be sitting FRONT row at that strip anymore....
|
I think you are probably right.. Already talking about high fences and possibly wheel teddors.... Someone said that F 1 already use them.... Not sure.....
|
The problem is, there is so much that can go wrong and all it takes is something small. It is hard to make it 100% safe.

I agree with Mack, nothing can ever be 100% safe, part of the risk of participating in and going to activities like drag races is knowing that something bad could happen, it is just a fact
|
I completely agree. I'd still go to the strip after something like this happened. Nothing beats the feeling like actually being there and feeling the ground shake and your ears ring.

did the tire jump the fence?
or was the women where she was not supposed to be? |
More people die each year in bath tubs. Let's hope they don't go changing anything about NHRA and how we watch it because of one unfortunate accident.
