Qualifying for Hungarian GP
 

Well there were some tense moments today in Hungary as Massa from Ferrari was hit with a piece of debris and crashed his car. He was airlifted to hospital and we are awaiting news.
Qualifying was completed after a delay and the Renault team has the pole for tomorrows race. 2nd & 3rd spots are held by the Red Bull Team. Hopefully the weather will hold for tomorrows race.:)

Update on Felipe Massa crash.
 

Felipe was conscious at the arrival at the hospital,” said a Ferrari statement, adding that Massa had suffered a cut on his forehead, concussion and a bone lesion of the skull. These conditions need to be operated on, after which he will remain under observation in intensive care.
He was hit in the helmet with a suspension spring from another car.:(

Without a doubt.

Injured driver Felipe Massa has been out of bed and walking and will leave intensive care on Wednesday, Ferrari have confirmed.

“He has had more exams carried out, confirming his continuing improvement,” said the team. “Felipe speaks, can sit upright and was even able to take his first steps. From the clinical and radiological point of view everything is going extremely well.”

Massa has been in Budapest’s AEK hospital since Saturday, when he underwent emergency surgery for a fractured skull, after being hit by a suspension spring from another car during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

On Monday he was brought out of the artificial coma he had been placed in to aid his recovery and taken off a respirator. There was more good news on Tuesday when doctors confirmed that Massa can now open and see out of his left eye.

On Wednesday afternoon Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo will return to Hungary to greet Massa personally, and on behalf of the company and the fans who are continuing to send their best wishes to the Brazilian.
