Greetings all

Hi all, my name is Art, I live in northern Wisc. Been into mopars since the 68 Road Runner came out. My God Father got one new in 67 and took me fore a ride. I was 7 years old. We blew off an early mustang and I was hooked. Picked up a 68 fury III 2 dr. square back in 73 and traded it 2 years later for a 68 Coronete 500. Still have it but the frame rails have rotted away. I still get a kick out of folks asking me about my Charger. Some even ask if it still has the 500 in it. Either you get it or you don't. Always wanted to get another one but the prices are getting crazy these days. Being in the north woods I have managed to collect a few mopes but now only have about 7 cars left, 3 Furys,1 Polara' the Coronete, a 65 Chrysler 2dr. and a 68 Chrysler New Port 4 dr. 2 of witch can be put back on the road, one a fury and the other the 68 4 dr. New Port. They are both 68 4 dr c-bodies one Chrysler one Fury. 3 trucks 1 of witch is still on the road (1976) and a 77 van that is close to rust free and very solid (summer driver) and a 71 van front camper. Also have a number of parts filling up a couple rooms in the house. This is not an add, just where I am in this hobby. I have been playing with these cars since the mid 70's but I am no expert, just having fun.
Any way just wanted to say hi. Sorry for the long rant I get carried away some times.

Thanx guys,
I appreciate your welcome. This is gonna be a little long.
I am working on my 68 Chrysler, 4 dr New Port. The one mentioned in that old b-52 song. " I got a big old Chrysler it's as big as a whale.":D
Currently the car is setting till I can get a little extra spending money. Though I can do a lot of cleaning for cheap.
But so far I had a 76 vintage 400 rebuilt with flat top pistons and an .040 over bore. RV cam (?) The builder used a seal power kit. I ask for the spec.s he said they were in the receipts, but not there, so I am not sure. Might change it out now might run it and see what it does. Gotta run better then the tired ole' 383. The heads are same year as motor I think 452s. shaved 010. stock 66 4bbl cast iron intake cut to match heads. factory logs for exhaust. Pro rebuild on the 4133s carter carb. Rebuilt transmission myself. The engine compartment is getting cleaned and the brakes will be done this spring while everything is accessible. Have a pst kit I bought years ago on
e-gag. $75.oo I thought it was a good deal. Now I read a lot about them being not so good so we will have to take a good look at everything and decide whether to use or not. The front end actually worked fine when last I drove it, That was 06. Yikes. Also just got an oxy acetylene set and have been playing with the fire. I did some cutting and welding. I wasn't getting any penetration welding some mild 1/8 steel. I think I need a bigger tip and more heat. Can't afford more tips and what not, so now I will play with the sheet metal. I have plenty.
