Hello! from east bay area
 
Hello people of the mopar world,
I'm rand from pittsburg cali. I just picked up a 63 custom 880 and very stoked about starting on the journey of getting her to a cruzable condition. if any you old timers have any suggestions please hit me up. plus if anyone’s from the bay area and wants to hook up give a shout.

oh dont you know..... not sure about classic car place in pittsburg,ca but I went to a classic car consignment place in Dublin, CA near the Arlen Ness museum. cool places.

Thanks! yeah body is pretty straight, the trimming and bumpers are in tact however I notice rust at all of the major areas that water been seeping through from the window seals and the rear trunk area is pretty bad. I'll be taking her to many various body shops to get pro advice. I understand that these are the unibody type so is there an added cost for body rust jobs because we can't separate body from frame?
My main priority right now is to stop the rust from spreading, then I can move on from there.
The day I bought it I drove it for about 55miles and ran fine. Could use more HP though. The brakes need to be converted to front disk and the suspension is shot. I'm pretty good at doing work myself, like pulling the motor and trans. I can upgrade the suspensions myself, not a problem. It's the serious stuff that I'll need to have a mechanic do.
any suggestions from you would be awesome!
