TWIN TURBO 383
Hey People,
I am a newbie, not to the automobile world but to mopars, yes. My dad has been in mopars since i can remember. He has a 68' road runner, 68' GTX, and now he just bought a 72' charger. It was a great deal, now it doesnt have an engine/tranny and we will be putting a 3.55 posi rearend in it from another road runner. Now he is letting me build the car up and do the work to it, i have done work to many other cars and built 3 engines before but i have never ever worked on an old mopar like this or rebuilt an engine like the 383. I will need some help and i WILL be twin turboing this engine. Are there any sites that will aid me in buying nice mopar parts i may need and is there any write ups or articles on people who have ever twin turbod' a mopar? Any help would be great! Thanks.

I'd like someone to explain that statement. The only similarities I can se is that they are both American, and both V8's
Someone might argue that Chrysler SB's are similar to Chivvy, but I don't see it with BB Mopars
The oil pump and distributor drive is COMEPLETELY different, and in fact the pump is mounted externally.
The main caps are built completely different, as is the pan rails
The BB Mopars use a valley cover, and there is no water through the intake, so THAT is completely different
I guess I could go one, but........
What is it that makes them similar?
