I have seen something about this last year. I don't think they should ruin the name Dart with something that isn't American made and at least looks like it. I believe Dodge found this out with the Charger and Challenger. I would buy the Challenger heads over heals more than I would ever think of buying the Charger. Only because one looks alot closer like the older one.

Ya i hope it doesnt look like the thing above. They should do a retro dart have an economy version with a more hot version like the slant 6 dart to the dart sport sort of thing.

It would have been pretty cool to see them bring the Dart back as a compact car in place of the Neon.

So red car is an Alfa Romeo Guilietta (I believe) which Dodge is basing the Dart off of.

I don't know how i feel about it yet. I always thought the charger had kind of the same lines as the old darts.

I already know how I feel. Detroit has been doing this BS of renaming imports for some time now, and I'd just as soon they left the Dart name "for history" as bring it back as some damn import, I don't care how "good" the car is alleged to be.

If you must, Mopar, as int Dart, Duster, Demon, call it a Diamond, or maybe a Dufuss

From sources, it will be revealed at the January Auto Show in Detroit. That picture shown is the Alfa Romeo that it is based on. It will have a Dodge "cross-hair" grille, and other styling cues. The platform will be widened from it's European version. It will be built at the Belvedere Ill. assembly plant. There will be 3 engine choices, including a turbo.

well guess ill just have to go to the show and see what all the fuss is about but if they do name it a dart then ill probably say what a bummer , as for the new charger , why cant they of made even a miniature version of the bad *** 68 / 69 to me that would of been a best seller

I want a burnt orange metallic one with a 2.4l turbo and a 5/6 speed.

Hopefully it'd be the same as the Srt4 2.4L..

We have this new Metallic Brown on the new Avengers that looks AWESOME! It kind of looks like metallic root-beer! But I LIKE IT! As long as it doesn't look like a total "douche-mobile" like the Fiat 500, I might buy one. I have an 88 mile round trip commute, and put on 25k a year. If it is anywhere near as cool as a Focus, sign me up!

Get a 2.4 turbo, get some really nice aftermarket suspension and lower it, wheels and tires and some stint, and it'd be set!

I don't really care for how the window and door lines raise up as high as they do as they go back. I'd be interested in seeing what the two door version looks like though. Plus the front end remind me too much of a Ford Focus.

i hope they have a two door version. I think i twould look better if they thin out the *** end sort of had it look little like the 73 sport fastback look and get rid of that stupid cross hair grille
