'01: Rain water coming in by pass side by blower motor.

2001 Chrysler Neon. When heavy rain hits, water seems to be accumulating somewhere around the blower motor under the pass. side dash. When I turn at high speeds water comes gushing out into the carpet. Anyone heard of this before?

Thanks.

a guy on neoncanada.com had the same problem and said an open pinchweld under the windshield was allowing water to enter the blower motor housing.Check the seams on the firewall and seal anything that looks like it might leak.
