707 HP in the new Challenger

Wow, The new SRT Challenger is going to have 707 HP and 650 ft. lbs. of torque. Now that is what I am talking about in a production car....Bill:driving:

If it's available with a stick I will have to trade in my Journey for one, sounds like the perfect family car!

There was one (HellCat) at Irwindale this past Thursday Night..... Great tire smoker... Didnt put up any good numbers....

Not what I was hopping to see.... I was under the impression, that there was some better thought that had gone into this project?????

Not to sure I'm impressed by any of this. Sometimes I think we need to get back to the "days of the Roadrunner." AKA 340 Darts and such. These new toys are expensive. Most of us that haven't made a living raping our employees to get rich can't afford them

I'm very curious how the aftermarket industry will support this car.

I'm guessing it's driver issues. I've never seen a Viper run quicker than 13.10 in person either, doesn't mean they're slow though. Put me behind the wheel, then we'll see how quick it really is (or if I can blow it up!).

you can put all kinds of power in something,if you cant engineer it to hook it to the ground youre up in smoke. mayybe a feathered foot to that gas pedal I might be able to get some numbers too. But like the viper thing. Hammer down and like he said no real numbers.
