2bbl to 4bbl with new intake... help me

I have a 73 Satellite Sebring Plus with the 400 in it. The motor was completely stock and I just took the old intake off with the carb (it was the carter 2bbl) and I put on a mopar intake for a 4bbl carb ( I don't know much about the intake, but it's about 3 inches taller than the old intake) and I put an Edelbrock 600cfm on top of that. I have a couple issues.
1. the new carbs throttle linkage is about 2 inches forward from where the old linkage went, making it difficult for me to get the throttle pressure valve linkage to it
2. the new carb is also higher than the old one was, making it that more difficult for me to get the tpv linkage to it and
3. does anyone know anything about the edelbrock #8021 Chrysler kickdown lever kit... will this little part solve all my problems? is there a way to get this carb all hooked up without buying a fancy kit (bouchillion or lokar cable) and waiting 5 to 10 business days to get it?

You need the lever regardless !!! The post connector needs to be removed from the original carb and installed on the lever. The throttle cable may have enough adjustment in it. The kick down linkage will have to be modified You may need to get the 4bbl linkage

Most likely this: a fancy kit (bouchillion or lokar cable) and waiting 5 to 10 business days to get it?

I order mine straight from Bouchillion They ship the same day It takes 2 days to me in KC from SC where they are.

When I was buying the Lokar crap 10 years ago, Jeg's would get it to me in 3 days in Ocean Springs MS
