68 Charger under hood hight

How much room is under the hood of a 68charger with a stock 440. And is there a way to calculate the room needed for aftermarket parts. IE aluminum heads and single plane manifolds. I have no engine in car to reference off, and would like to keep a stock hood on her. Any help would be appreciated .

I've got a 69 charger with 383 so a little different but not much.. I am running stock heads( aluminum shouldn't be an issue) a single plane older tm6 (tm7 for 440) holley 650 dbl pumper and with a mopar cleaner on top. Fits Under hood fine. I'm not sure there is a ton of room left over though.
Some Intakes that should fit:
Performer
Performer rpm
Tm7

I'm sure there are plenty more too..
Others will chime in to assist I'm sure

Good luck

Nice to see another Maine boy I grew up in Kittery. I hope so. looking at a M1, torker 2 or victor intake. the heads will be standard heads, but max-wedge ones would be nice to look at if I can keep it under that hood.
