Body work. 1973 Charger

There arent many DIY threads, so I thought i would start a few with the projects im working on. Feel free to offer constructive criticism or tips/tricks that you know of. Anything info at all can be helpful at some point.

Just to give a little info about myself, I'm 20 years old, college student at the University of Cincinnati, so I dont have a ton of experience doing the work and am by no means an expert.

This is going to show pictures of the body work that i am currently working on/ worked on in the past.

I dont have many pictures of the progress from the work that is already done, but here is the problem

Tonight I will have pictures of what it looks like now as well as a write up of how I got from that to where I am now.

Try taking off the inter. pannel on the back side to get to it..If ya can should be a easy fix. good luck

there are suctions cups that you can try using to get most/some of it out.

wvcuda 12-01-2008 04:31 PM

Yeah suctions cup will get most out but for the kinks .They will have to be done from back side some how im sure..So why buy something to fix only part of the problem when u can get it all from back side?Im sorry lol sounded rude of me again sorry Just tring to save a buck for ya and some time.Im sure u are going to have to get to the back to get it all out.

do what 78 says and buy you a good suction cup puller as you will not get it all out from the back side either and some times you get lucky and most will pop out for you or you will need a good dent puller but i do not suggest a hand puller with a screw as those just make it worst use the weld on type or the suction cup puller , you can also try a body spoon or a body hammer and dollie

If u are going to use these don't ya have to get to the back side of pannel?Once u get to the back of it u can push out wot the suction cups will get out with your hand..

WV, looks like you're from WV? If you're goin to Cincinnati, I bet you pass right by my house (South Point, OH, across the river from Huntington WV) on the way home for visits. You're welcome to stop by and I can show you some of the things I'm doing/have done and maybe give some old time advice.
