Side-window rain guard installation?!?

I know this is a fairly foolish question however I cannot find any info on this topic so i need to ask... Today I purchased MOPAR rain guards for my 06 Charger R/T. They use double sided tape to stick to the car... My question is: Does the temperature play a huge part in installing them onto my car. I live in NJ and its about 40 or so. The guy at the Dodge place says they suggest it be warmer but its not a huge deal they install them year round. Also, is there a drying period? should I not drive or let them get wet for a certain period of time? and if so what is that period of time? If there is anyone out there who can help me out I would really appreciate it... Thanks!
