Tranny swap NEED info help

Buddy has has a 87 Ram w/ a 318. Tranny started slipping Can i take a 727 off a 360 and put on 318 and just use the 318 TC, or am I wrong?? Please help Thanks Dave

Yes but you will need to get a new flexplate. They have a different bolt pattern. Go to any ger shop. they are only ten bucks and get new bolts while your at it. Dont get confused because the flexplate only bolts on one way.
