'14 Ram Supercharger Opinions?

So I've decided I'm going to supercharge my '14 Ram 5.7. I've pretty much settled for the idea of going with a Procharger kit. It comes with the D1SC so it's very upgradeable down the road, but out of the box it delivers 7-9 psi of boost. I use this truck as a daily driver and to tow my 27' camper for family vacations. I've also purchased Air Ride "Load Lifter 5000 Ultimate" helper bags to aid with the towing. Any suggestions or comments on the supercharger are welcome. I'm curious to know if anyone is using this kit, what the 5.7's are good for boost-wise with all stock internals, etc. Your input is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've been through this with trucks in the past and beefed up a small truck to do more work than it was designed for and come to the philosophy I have now.

Get a truck the right size for the job, towing weight numbers will be legal with no hassle if stopped, power from the original engine you want, and most important wheel bearing size.

Just like the guys that take a new Ford F150 lift it, put huge tires on it and think the have a big truck they have puny bearings that they will be frequently changing. My Ford dealership mechanic son sees it all the time.

Without knowing what series truck, you may be looking at transmission troubles after pulling more weight with more power than the transmission was designed to handle.

I'm not planning on towing more than what the truck is rated for (11k lbs.), I'm just going to make it easier to do. I have a 27 foot camper that weighs 5500 lbs. and the truck sags quite a bit even with the load leveling hitch (hence adding the air bags), and I figured supercharge it to help with hills. I'm not going to be drag racing my truck or anything. It's my daily driver and it gets my family to camp sites.

If you are planning big tires ? A gear change is necessary !!!

What model of truck? My son says the air bags are a good idea as the coil rear suspension are good for comfort lousy for work. If it has towing mode he says it does very well to adjust engine and transmission shifting making it a good tow vehicle.

If you have towed and felt limited because of terrain then power could be what's needed. I would search the truck forums for experience in this matter.
