318 for a 225 slant 6 in a 73 Satellite?

Hey, I am getting ready to swap out the slant six for a 318 in a 73 satellite. If I am not mistaken, the 225 and the 318 were both stock options at that time, but I didn't know if I needed to do much more than change the motor mounts. I have both the new engine and transmission to put in, but am I going to be needing a different rear end? The new 318 is not a race engine, but has a little more kick than your average 318! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

A 73 should have an 8 3/4 in it ... more than enough for your combo.
