318 with 360 heads?

I am putting a 1998 318 bottom end with 1999 360 heads in my dakota. It is a 1999 dakota RT that was factory 360. What all do i have to have to make all this work together, and what do i have to do to make it run strong like th 360 did?

The R/t 360s came with a mild cam in them. If the cam in the motor that you are pulling out is still good, install it into the block that you are installing. Port and polish the heads, get an M1 intake as it will flow better than the stock dome intakes.

Why do you want to pull the motor that is in there and install a 318 with 360 heads?

dont forget the compression drop from the bigger combustion chamber in the 360 heads as well. however the old 318 cop cars had this setup for the added airflow.
