440 swap in a 318 duster help

440 swap in a 318 duster help

i have a 72 duster with the stock 318 in it i bout a 440 to drop in it someone said u gotta change a bunch of stuff for it to work can somebody tell me what i gotta do

You should also look into changing out the torsion bars in the front suspension as I think there is a difference between the small block and big block weights.

You'll also want to change out yout radiator to a larger unit (meaning 3 or 4 core unit), you'll need a big block transmission to bolt up to the 440, you'll want to change out the rear end as the stock unit will not be able to handle the power and torque. I'm sure that they may be a few other things as well.

is there any header clearance problems this is essentially wat i had in mind when i find a duster
